Research We are pleased to be working with the prestigious Baylor University's Institute for Studies of Religion as an independent researcher and analyst for Couples Who Pray and The 40 Day Prayer ChallengeTM. When we began writing Couples Who Pray, we assumed there must be research to confirm the findings we'd personally experienced, praying together daily, as well as the 24 test couples who took The 40 Day Prayer Challenge, experienced.

We found none.

None of the major research companies has ever done specific research on couples praying.

However, through the help of Baylor University's Institute for Studies of Religion...the most prestigious in the field...we were able to uncover a study in which George Gallup had slipped some questions about what happens when couples pray frequently vs. sometimes.

The results were astonishing. A 20 to 30% elevation in romance, conversation, and various levels of marital happiness.
